Victoria Fox re-joins Matthew Heath and Nicky Bullard at LIDA

Former managing partner at Adam&EveDDB (previously DDB UK), Victoria Fox, has joined LIDA as its managing director.

Fox is re-joining the agency after spending four years with LIDA between 2000 and 2004. Fox will start on 1 March 2013, reporting to Matthew Heath who was appointed as LIDA chairman last year.

As managing director Fox will be responsible for delivery across the agency’s broad client base including the brands O2, IKEA and Boots, as well as for new business going forward. The appointment sees her reunited with creative director, Nicky Bullard, having worked together at LIDA until 2004, when Fox was group account director for clients such as Matalan and Natwest.

Speaking of the appointment, Heath commented: “It is always a terrific sign when you can encourage your most talented people to come back. Victoria brings a compelling blend of direct, digital and brand experience which is precisely what we need to keep LIDA on the amazing upward trajectory of the last few years.

“Both clients and colleagues alike cite her passion, honesty and drive, all qualities that are at the heart of our success here.”

Prior to joining Adam&EveDDB, Fox held the role of managing director at Touch DDB – DDB UK’s integrated arm – where she headed up the agencies integrated offering. Fox started her career with Brann London before moving onto LIDA in 2001, and has worked as an independent marketing consultant for a number of agencies including, Miller Bainbridge and Partners, Rapier and Carlson Marketing Group.

M&C Saatchi and founder of LIDA, Lisa Thomas, added: “Having worked with Victoria in the early days of LIDA, I’m thrilled she has returned to the fold.

“Her arrival completes a robust leadership team which is set to take LIDA to even greater heights. I look forward to working closely with Victoria and the rest of the team in the coming months to expand and develop the LIDA portfolio.”
