IAS b2b receives The Drum Grand Prix hatstand

The Drum Grand Prix Hatstand has been delivered to IAS b2b, which was named as the most awards agency of 2012 earlier this year.

This is the first year that the prize has been awarded, but is set to be handed out annually to the agency which performs best across The Drum's various award schemes.

The beautiful wrought iron sculpture was handmade by eminent artist John Creed, who is also the father of Turner Prize-winning Martin Creed.

Rob Morrice, managing director of IAS, explained his views on the importance of awards for the business. "Seizing award opportunities is not about vanity and parties. There is a tremendous sense of pride and morale boost across the agency when we add to the trophy cabinet. It's the public proclamation that our work is at the top of its game.

"Winning awards based on the effectiveness of our client work really proves our ability to the marketplace and has definitely helped us get onto some A-list, international pitch lists. And our Roses and Chip Shop awards dispel the myth that b2b agencies are not creative.

"We may have hit an awards high in 2012 - after all who can argue with The Drum's Best Agency around accolade - but that doesn't mean we're going to hang our hats up just yet. You can be sure to see the IAS logo coming to a shortlist soon,” he concluded.

Based on this system IAS b2b Marketing scored 259 points, with the agency’s trophy cabinet boasting trophies from Chip Shop Awards, Roses Creative Awards, MiAwards, UK Event Awards, Drum Marketing Awards and the RAR Awards.
