John Lewis has revealed the second advertising campaign for its exclusive fashion brand Somerset by Alice Temperley.

Photographer Tom Craig and British model Lily Donaldson have been brought back for the campaign which aims to encapsulate the Somerset woman’s elegance and sense of style.

Created by Adam & Eve DDB, the ads will appear nationwide in national press, women’s consumer titles, billboards, and online from Monday 4 February.

With her designs worn by the likes of the Duchess of Cambridge, Sarah Jessica Parker, Jennifer Lopez and Beyoncé, the collaboration between the eponymous British fashion designer and John Lewis became the fastest selling brand in the retailer’s history when it launched last year. The S/S13 campaign features a series of nostalgic, sun-drenched images styled by London-based Naomi Miller.

The collection itself draws on the clean lines of the French Rivera with a nod to the 1970s, with silk tile prints, embroidery and Temperley’s signature vintage lace all incorporated.

Head of marketing, Fashion at John Lewis, Rachel Swift, commented: “It is important that we remind customers that this is an ongoing collaboration with Alice and that we will continue to add to the collection in the coming seasons. Our latest campaign for Somerset communicates a more laid back attitude for spring, which reflects the nature of the season and the range.”

The collection is available in stores and online from today (Friday 1 February).
