Music streaming service Spotify is said to be moving to add video streaming to its bow if the latest rumours on Gizmodo are to be believed.
The technology blog cites a recent report which suggests the music service is developing a video streaming service that incorporates exclusive content with discussions with partners to fund and create content reportedly ongoing.
This would put the digital on a collision path with the likes of Amazon and Netflix which already run similar services of their own.
Such a move would be a logical progression of Spotify’s current business model which already incorporates streaming live performances and interviews with artists.
