CMW has announced the appointment of Faraaz Marghoob, previously planning director at Saatchi & Saatchi, as its new strategy director.
Marghoob, who left Saatchi & Saatchi last June to pursue his own business, will be responsible for developing and leading the agency’s strategic vision and will report directly into CEO Liz Wilson.
He said: “I’ve been impressed by the team at CMW and the wonderful portfolio of brands the agency works with. It’s exciting to have a range of new client challenges to solve, and I’m particularly looking forward to working with Liz to develop and implement the strategic vision for CMW. It’s an exciting opportunity to create a new kind of agency and one that integrates together a range of communication disciplines.”
Marghoob founded digital media business LightOps in March 2012, where he will remain as a partner.
