Trinity Mirror has continued to alter its publishing structure just a week after announcing a number of other changes, including the promotion of Mark Hollinshead as chief operating officer and the formation of One Trinity Mirror, a unification of its publishing divisions.
The new structure for the publishing operations will see Lloyd Embley promoted to editor-in-chief of the company’s national titles, while Paul Scott will become publishing director, with the two overseeing the publishing strategy for the Daily Mirror, Sunday Mirror and the Sunday People.
Denise West will become managing director of Scotland and North East England, while Joanne McGreevy will take up the role of managing director of MGN.
Meanwhile, three new publishing regions will be led by Steve Anderson Dixon in the north west, Simon Edgley in the midlands and south and Scotland and North East England by Denise West.
David Emin will lead the new single sales and marketing unit as managing director of Trinity Mirror National Sales, working alongside Ian Dowds, the newly appointed managing director of Trinity Mirror Digital Media.
Hollinshead, Trinity Mirror’s chief operating officer, said: "I am delighted to outline the new unified management structure for One Trinity Mirror which will ensure we have the best team in place, in the right markets, to help us achieve our ambitions to grow revenues, and accelerate our plans for all our digital and newspaper brands.
“I believe we now have in place a more cohesive publishing structure that brings editorial to the heart of the decision making process. This move will ultimately benefit our journalism, our readers and our advertisers.”
