M&C Saatchi have run a full page tribute to Margaret Thatcher in the Sunday Times, using a portrait of the former PM alongside the words ‘The best client we ever had’.
With a portrait of Thatcher acknowledging an adoring crowd and the Union Jack flying behind her the ad acknowledges the debt owed by Maurice and Charles Saatchi for their rise to prominence through the 1980’s.
The powerful partnership saw some of best party political campaign work undertaken in the UK; notably the famous ‘Labour isn’t working’ poster campaign which ushered in the Thatcher government in 1979.
