It has been announced that James Murdoch will keep his seat on the BSkyB board, after only 5 per cent of shareholders voted against him at today’s meeting.
The meeting, which took place in London, saw Murdoch reappointed as a director, having stepped down from the role of chairman earlier in the year.
The rate of those opposing his re-elect was down from last year, which saw 19 per cent of shareholders vote against him.
