Apple’s ‘apology’ to Samsung, which suggested the court ruling that the Galaxy Tablet didn’t copy the iPad was only ruled so because the former is ‘not as cool’ must be changed, UK courts have ruled.
The apology, which had to be published as part of Samsung’s winning the court case, has been described as non-compliant by judges.
It was ruled that the apology must be altered, and moved from a side page on the website to being placed on the home page.
According to The Next Web, Apple representatives told Lord Justice Longmore, Lord Justice Kitchin and Sir Robin Jacob that it could take up to a fortnight to change the statement, but one of the judges refused to believe this.
