Four days after the Golden Twits – the awards to celebrate those who are the best at Twitter – opened for entries, ‘royalty’ has demanded to be included.
Ok, fake royalty, as the @Charles_HRH and @HrhQueenCAMILLA handles are spoof accounts, and have been entered into the ‘fake celebrity’ category.
At the moment Charles seems to be beating his wife, with 42 votes to nine.
He insisted he should win because: “Winning an award would be the second greatest achievement after becoming King.”
Camilla suggests that she deserves votes instead because “One deserves a Golden Twit as it is the only title one doesn't have.”
Fake Nick Hewer and fake Prince Edward are also amongst the entries in this category.
