Nokia has promoted Adam Johnson from his current role as head of brand and campaigns to become head of consumer marketing for the UK division of the mobile phone company.
Johnson has become responsible for the strategy and execution for advertising, digital and sponsorship events as well as working with trade customers to ensure maximum exposure and brand alignment.
The promotion followed the current head of UK and Ireland consumer marketing, John Nichols, moving into a brand related global role.
It is believed Nokia will search for a direct replacement for Nichols to head up all marketing in the UK and take responsibility for additional areas such as insight and retail.
