PR agency Kaper has announced that Simone Drewry has been appointed as its new UK head, a role which she will assume from mid-January.
Working alongside Karmarama and Kream, Kaper’s sister agencies, Drewry will report directly to Chris McCafferty, Kaper’s founder.
McCafferty said: “When I started the agency in 2010, I can honestly say I had no idea we would be able to attract such high profile talent after just two years – something that’s made possible, in part, by the investment and vision of Phoenix.
“I’m delighted Simone’s been tempted by the opportunity at Kaper and can’t wait to welcome her into the team.”
Drewry joins Kaper from Mango where she served as managing director in Sydney for nearly five years, working on global brands including mcDonald’s, Volkswagen, Guinness and Johnnie Walker.
