Fashion retailer ASOS has unveiled two mobile apps as it aims to increase its offering for mobile and tablets: Daily Edit and FashionUp.
Created by Nimbletank, the ASOS Daily Edit aims to give users a ‘bitesize chunk’ of ASOS products, as chosen by the ASOS editors.
Nimbletank also created a custom Store Front for FashionUp, a free weekly mobile magazine app unveiled every Monday and featuring fashion, editorial and ‘how-to’ videos.
Duncan Edwards, editorial and design director at ASOS, said: “Nimbletank’s unique expertise has amplified the brand seamlessly through mobile. Mobile is a key channel for ASOS’ future in driving global engagement and vital for communicating the brand values. We’re excited about working with Nimbletank to further excel in this space. Nimbletank‘s design and development team have an instinct for what works on mobile, but also have a flexible approach that fosters a true collaborative spirit.”
Chris Minas, founder and managing director of Nimbletank, said: “Our ongoing work with ASOS reflects a united passion and drive in both parties to leverage the opportunities that mobile provides to strengthen consumer relationships with ASOS, whilst understanding the importance of integration with their overall communications.”
