Paxo has unveiled its ‘dark’ Christmas ad, created by McCann London, looking at how turkeys can’t wait to be stuffed with Paxo.
‘The Turkey Whisperer’ will run online and though social media channels, and shows a Paxo representative disguised as a turkey and persuading a barn full of the birds that Christmas is a good thing.
The film, directed by Steve Reeves at Another Film Company, was shot for real on a genuine free range turkey farm, and uses the fact that if you shout at turkeys, they will gobble back at you.
Javier Gomez, art director at McCann London, said: “I have been fascinated by turkeys and their gobbling for years.”
