The Association of Photographers has announced that managing director Kingsley Marten is to leave his role as of Friday 21 December.
Marten has held the role of managing director and chief executive of the Association of Photographers since August 2007. Recently Marten was entrusted by members to lead the sale of the Association’s premises in Leonard Street, London, which enabled the Association to purchase its new headquarters at 21 Downham Road, London.
Marten’s final delivery to the Association was to manage the development and launch of a new website showcasing members’ work, the work of the Association and helping to educate those who want to know more about professional photography and how it operates within the industry.
The Association’s Board of Directors has wished Marten “every good fortune for his future and we would like to thank him for all the time and the considerable energy he has given to the Association since his arrival.”
