Billington Cartmell group planning director Neil Davidson has hired top digital strategist Stephen Dodd. Dodd will work as senior strategist across all the agency’s accounts, with a focus on helping clients deliver more informed, channel-neutral planning.
Dodd started his career in London, where he worked at companies including Claritas and Rapier, before moving to Sydney, Australia where he has spent the past eight years. He has joined Billington Cartmell from Deepend in Sydney where he was senior digital strategist.
Dodd has recently worked on brands such as Telstra, Nestle, Coca-Cola, GlaxoSmithKline, Microsoft and Ancestry.com.
Davidson explained Dodd’s agency and sector experience will supplement Billington Cartmell’s existing planning skill set as the agency develops its planning offer for clients. He said: “As soon as I met Stephen, I knew he was the right man for the job. He not only brings a wealth of valuable experience, he has demonstrated a really focused approach to solving client strategic challenges. He will be a great addition to the team.”
