Location, Location, Location presenter Kirstie Allsopp has found herself at the centre of a Twitter row with one of the UK’s largest parenting charities, the National Childbirth Trust (NCT).
Allsopp’s Twitter outburst, after being angered listening to a discussion on Radio 4’s Today programme involving the chief executive of the NCT, has lead one NCT teacher to threaten her with legal action.
In her Tweets Allsopp described the charity as “a politicised, dogmatic and scary organisation” and also branded its advice to mothers as “b******s”.
As well as gaining an unfavourable response from charity supporters, NCT teacher Sarah Johnson replied to the Channel 4 presenter informing her: “As an NCT teacher, I am going to request we consult lawyers re your tweets.”
