Woolley Pau Gyro has announced the appointment of Andy Jones as creative director; joining from his role as deputy creative director at Ogilvy Healthworld.
Jones said the job was “an opportunity too good to miss, the best job for a creative in healthcare advertising.”
The appointment has led to a new job title for founder Dean Woolley as well: “Having Andy here to run the creative department gives me the opportunity to work more directly on client business. That means doing even more of what I’ve always loved doing for the agency: developing creative strategy; coming up with campaign ideas; simply writing copy. That doesn’t all fit on a business card, so I get to be called executive creative director.
“Change is happening in every direction: new people; new skills and perspectives; new channels of communication for our clients. But what’s not going to change at Woolley Pau Gyro is our belief in intelligent, engaging creative work. How we made our reputation is how we’ll make our future.”
