Heineken International has appointed R/GA London to work on a new brief for a global digital platform set to launch later this year, following a review handled by creativebrief.
Heineken is looking to develop its digital activity, which has gradually increased in recent years, with R/GA by building a stronger e-commerce presence.
The agency won the pitch over advertising and design firm, Crispin Porter & Bogusky. Other agencies involved at the earlier stages included Work Club and Lean Mean Fighting Machine.
R/GA has been tasked with primarily focusing on Heineken, though this may eventually extend across other brands in the portfolio such as Strongbow, Foster’s and Kronenbourg 1664.
