Former BT Wholesale executive board member, Jo Upward has joined experimental marketing company, Platform as managing director.
The Brighton-based company has appointed Upward to work with customers through engaging digital, environmental, and strategic communications and experiences. Upward’s remit includes working with the team to achieve significant growth over the next five years and to help platform better meet the needs of its customers.
In her former role as group director of customer experience at BT, Upward was responsible for the strategic direction and leadership of customer experience across the whole of the BT Group, focusing on customers across BT’s £20 billion customer base.
Jo’s experience of driving customer-focused strategies fits perfectly with our strengths as a business to produce innovative, customer led engagement tools that allow our clients to talk to their target audiences,” commented Max Eaglen, founder director at Platform. “With Jo on board, we are looking for Platform to grow expeditiously allowing us to share our passion, creativity and amazing work with existing and new clients.”
