Global money exchange service Travelex has engaged digital marketing firm Mediaworks to help grow its international presence.
The Tyneside-based agency has now been tasked with helping the currency exchange group grow its global presence in several relatively untapped markets, including Turkey, Bahrain and South Africa.
Of the appointment, Brett Jacobson, managing director of Mediaworks, commented: “Businesses like Travelex are finding digital marketing a faster route to global growth, particularly in markets that may be underdeveloped. As online transactions and trade continue to soar across the board, more and more clients are switching onto the benefits of implementing truly global marketing plans and lessening their reliance on one particular territory.”
Travelex will now work closely with Mediaworks to set up coverage for the brand in both developed and developing markers where there are opportunities for growth.
