Cosmetics brand Nivea Men has announced a tie-up with footballing giants Real Madrid which sees players from the top ranked Spanish side star in a new TV ad created by Draftcb Milan.
The three year sponsorship agreement covers the Spanish market and sees team mates Sergio Ramos, Álvaro Arbeloa and Gonzalo Higuaín show face in TV, Print, OOH, POS and digital.
This coincides with a repositioning of the Nivea brand from April, when it will sport a new design and slogan ‘It starts with you’.
Ralph Gusko, Beiersdorf executive board member for brands said: “We are excited about the new partnership and the related projects. Real Madrid is a great match for NIVEA MEN because in our marketing strategy the passion for football plays a very important role. This helps us to emotionalize our products.”
