Outdoor products company Vango has reported a 30 per cent increase in followers since appointing GoGo Social to handle its social media presence.
After an increase in website sales, the company was appointed to further establish the AMG Group brand's online profile and its social media campaign has prompted a rise in international interest.
"We have seen a dramatic different in the growth of our social media communities," said Emma Robinson, brand manager at Vango. "We are a small team and needed to partner with a company that really understood our brand and could deliver with the minimum of fuss. GoGo Social go the extra mile and provide the level of user interaction our customers expect. Most importantly, we are getting some great feedback from our customers."
Vango's relationship with disaster relief charity Shelterbox was given prominence in the campaign, offering support for it across social media channels, while associations with the Duke of Edinburgh Award and the scouts provided opportunities to increase user interaction and relevant content sharing.
Joint managing director of Leeds-based GoGo Social, Andy Lenney, said: "Vango is a trusted brand and its customers love the products. Our campaign focused on building on the brand advocacy and capturing the enthusiasm people have for spending time outdoors. It is great to see the campaign translating into strong results."
