Unilever has announced that its Simple Spotless Skin brand is set to sponsor ‘The You Generation’ channel on YouTube, a global online audition channel which is launching today.
Created by Syco Entertainment and YouTube, the channel will allow people to show off their skills and win a cash prize.
Kevin Mathers, managing director of YouTube sales and operations for the UK: said, “Increasingly advertisers are looking at YouTube as a fantastic place to build their brands and reach their key audiences. Channels such as The You Generation, give brands new ways to engage their audience in a precise and effective way. Another great example of original quality online programming on YouTube."
The sponsorship deal was brokered by Mindshare, and aims to raise awareness of the brand.

The package will include pre-roll style in-stream video ads, including TrueView, as well as in-display banner ads, giving the brand 100 per cent share of voice on the channel.
