Glasvegas has worked with Glasgow-based agency reflexblue on the campaign to promote their third studio album, ‘Later…When The TV Turns To Static’.
The first track from the album is now set to be released on 25 April, with artwork designed by reflexblue in collaboration with the band’s songwriter and front man James Allan. reflexblue has also designed the landing page for the band’s website as well as two video trailers.
“It has been really fun, inspiring and productive to work with reflexblue. They’re not like people who just go to work together, they are like a little creative gang and that’s my kind of thing,” said Glasvegas’ Allan.
To coincide with Record Store Day on 20 April, an exclusive 7” of the single ‘I’d Rather Be Dead (Than Be With You)’ with cover art from reflexblue will be sold in participating record stores.
Head of creative at reflexblue Brian Wishart commented: “It’s been an amazing opportunity to work with the band. As a fan of the band it’s been mind blowing for me to create graphics for the single and especially for the limited edition 7” as I’m a bit of a vinyl geek. However, doing the album artwork is going to be the greatest feeling of all…I can’t wait for it to come out.”
Reflexblue will continue to work with the band over the coming months creating video work including a ‘behind the scenes’ from the recent video shoot for the new single as well as creative work for the album which is due for release this summer.
