Zynga's popular Draw Something app will take to Channel 4 screens as a celebrity game show in a deal between the two companies and distributor Sony Pictures Television.
Victory Television will produce the Draw It! programme using a format created by Zynga, Ryan Seacrest Productions and Embassy row, featuring teams of contestants - recruited through the app - and celebrities competing in a number of drawing challenges based on the app.
Managing director of Victory Television, Victoria Ashbourne, said: "We're very excited to work with Channel 4 to produce a brand new show inspired by one of the biggest hits in app history to date. There's a creative side to everyone, sometimes more obvious than other, and the show will really tap into that with a race against the clock and plenty of humour."
Last month, Zynga announced plans to launch a sequel to the app, which achieved 50 million downloads after its initial launch last year.
