TeamRock, which recently acquired magazines Classic Rock and Metal Hammer, has announced its leadership team, including Chris Ingham, who will serve as managing director of content and publishing.
The new company, led by chairman John Myers and CEO Billy Anderson, has recruited Ingham, who was group publisher at Future, from which the magazines were acquired by TeamRock, to focus on developing the brands internationally.
Also joining the company’s management team will be Ciarán O’Toole as digital & innovation director, Alan Clarke as operations director, Cameron Pirie as insight director and Stephen McCreath as head of TV.
Joining from Myers and Anderson’s former employer GMG Radio will be Jill Johnston as HR director, former Rock Radio controller Hugh Evans as head of radio and Stuart Kilby as finance director to work on radio station Digital One.
“This is a content business driven by brilliant people on every platform. I am thrilled we have attracted this level of talent so quickly and they have bought into the vision we believe in.
"Over 500 people have applied to join TeamRock so far,” commented Anderson.
The new radio station is set to begin testing across National DAB Digital Radio in the next two weeks.
