Trinity Mirror has promoted its digital agency Rippleffect’s founder Ben Hatton to managing director of its Digital Marketing Services Network.
Hatton will be tasked with leading the growth and development of the media company’s digital marketing offer, while continuing to head-up the Liverpool-based agency at the same time.
"It is a very exciting challenge for me and the Group. Rippleffect has demonstrated continued growth and with the acquisition of Communicator and further organic developments, we are starting to form a strong Digital Marketing Network of 'best of breed' companies,” commented Hatton.
"Our immediate focus will be to build on the success that both agencies have achieved and ensure they can meet their respective growth targets over the next 12 months,” he added.
Rippleffect was acquired by Trinity Mirror in 2008, while Hatton has also been credited with being one of the key figures involved in the £8m acquisition of Communicator Corp last year by the publisher.
