iLove, the digital fashion and lifestyle publication set to launch in July, has appointed Jill Wanless as its beauty and fashion director.
Wanless joins the publication after contributing to The Guardian, Grazia, Elle Girl and The Sunday Times. She previously led the fashion and beauty team as the associate editor at Look magazine and has also presented on GMTV and Lorraine.
Commenting on her new role, Wanless said: “iLove is set to turn the industry on its head. By using advanced data profiling, we have developed a very detailed picture of our reader that informs the content we are developing. The interactive nature of the content will bring a whole new experience for readers.”
iLove will be lanched to a pre-selected audience of 700,000, providing them with an immersive digital experience that uses interactive technology via a mobile app to access multimedia content and m-commerce sites.
iLove has said advertisers and brands alike will benefit from a deeper reader insight and direct, off-the-page sales, providing information on how people are engaging, choosing to interact with and buying directly from the page.
iLove will be published monthly and distributed to an exclusive database. It is available to a wider audience through online and email editions and paid for subscriptions.
