Social media monitoring service Spotter, which offers monitoring and analysis tools, has announced its UK launch.
Founded in France in 1998 Spotter has expanded to cover a number of territories including the US, Spain, Canada, Dubai and Qatar. The decision to launch in the UK follows opportunities arising in key industries including banking, communications and travel, as UK firms seek to understand their target market.
Richard May, national sales director for the UK & Ireland, commented: “Spotter has been monitoring and analysing conversations and sentiment around business for 14 years – longer than social media itself has been around – and we have developed our tools to cater for the needs of our clients and ensure the data we provide is at the cutting edge of the industry… [We] are delighted to now offer our services to UK firms – something we’re excited about.
“Businesses in the UK have a mature understanding of the importance of social media monitoring and analysis – more so than in many other countries – and we are keen to assist firms by providing detailed, timely data to enable them to make well-informed, profitable business decisions…we look forward to assisting as many British firms and institutions as possible in the near future.”
