Leo Burnett Group has created a new management team at its brand activation division, ARC.
Ian Thomas and Michelle Whelan have been promoted to managing partners of the division. Thomas previously held the role of head of account management at ARC, where he headed up the client service department looking after a portfolio of clients and since 2010 Whelan has held the role of head of shopper marketing ensuring Arc is at the forefront of shopper thought through leadership, insight, creative and evaluation.
Paul Lawson, deputy CEO at Leo Burnett Group, commented: “Thomas’ experience in direct marketing and digital, together with Whelan’s background in shopper and retail marketing combine to create a formidable brand activation offering for Arc. We’re really pleased they’ve accepted the roles.”
Thomas and Whelan are joined by former Billington Cartmell group creative partner, Beri Cheetham who has been appointed executive creative director.
