Sheffield-based metal core band, Bring Me The Horizon, has worked with integrated communications agency, Turn Key, on its latest website.
Reaching 64,000 views in the space of 24 hours, the new website uses the latest web technology and gives fans the chance to gain a sneak peek into the bands newest album ‘Sempiternal’, due to launch next year.
The futuristic look and feel of the site sets the scene of what's to come from the band and features a HTML5 animated video created by designer Sean Simmonds and web designer Oliver Harris. The responsive design of the site provides visitors with a richer viewing experience. The site has also been optimised for mobile and tablet use as well as desktop.
Commissioned by Sony RCA, Turn Key had a week to create the site which went live at the beginning of this week. In the first hour alone the site amassed over 30,000 hits.
Speaking on behalf of the band, lead singer, Oli Sykes, commented: “The site was better than I could ever imagine, I absolutely love the angle shifting. The guys and I think it looks amazing, cheers Turn Key.”
Account director at Turn Key, James Wray, added: “It has been a really exciting project to work on and we’re all really proud of the site.
“The day that the site launched was just amazing, the level of website hits was epic which just shows the dedicated following the band has built up over the years.”
