The Richmond Group has selected driven to handle the advertising and digital creative account for Amigo Loans.
The Manchester-based agency was appointed following a competitive pitch process against a number of London and regional agencies.
“We have plans to establish the brand quickly and uniquely in the marketplace. driven demonstrated a fantastic understanding of what will be required to achieve this, both strategically and creatively,” commented Julia Dallimore, marketing director of Amigo.
Amigo was launched earlier in the year and is looking to occupy the space between banks and pay day loans with its guarantor based loan offering.
The agency is thought to have a TV lead campaign for the brand already in production, with Graham Drury, partner at driven, adding: “We think the idea will turn some heads in the market, but more importantly it will unlock the great sales potential of an Amigo Loan.”
