Sweaty Betty, the women’s sportswear brand, has appointed social communications agency 1000heads to develop a new advocacy programme.
The appointment sees 1000heads charged with building an advocate community amongst fashion, lifestyle and fitness bloggers, employing experiential, direct outreach and social media conversations to reach out to the community.
Aimee Taylor, online PR and social media manager for Sweaty Betty, said: “Sweaty Betty has a strong mission at its heart – to inspire women to find empowerment through fitness.
“Because of this, it’s vital that we keep listening to our customers, understanding what makes them tick, and respond. Building a community of advocates who share our own passion will mean we can do this even better, and continue inspiring women everywhere to lead active lives.”
Michelle Stoodley, account manager at 1000heads, added: “As a values-driven brand who genuinely shares a passion with its customers, Sweaty Betty has recognised the huge opportunity they have to harness passionate advocates who will inspire the business and its future customers.”
