BIMA Awards 2012: Who made the shortlist?

At the British Interactive Media Association (BIMA) End of Summer Bash the shortlist for the 2012 BIMA Awards, which The Drum partners, was announced.

Hailed as the most “diverse” in recent years, finalists have included heavyweights such as AKQA, LBi and Profero through to smaller agencies like Sagittarius Marketing and Jollywise Media and The Mill.

Chris Kempt, Chair of the BIMA Awards and MD of Kempt, commented on this year’s shorlist: “Most of the names you’d expect to see on the list are there but we’re also delighted with the number of less well-known agencies nominated by our judges. It underlines the strength and diversity of UK digital and shows once again how BIMA is ahead of the curve in recognising upcoming talent.”
