Palmer Hargreaves developed the umbrella creative for the charity

UK charity Hearing Dogs for Deaf People has worked with Palmer Hargreaves to develop an umbrella creative for the charity’s volunteering function.

The new creative allows for each of the individual volunteering areas to be promoted in a uniform way, in keeping with the current branding.

The first campaign to utilise the new designs is Puppy Socialising, in which members of the public look after a future hearing dog for its first year, providing initial obedience and house training as well as teaching them to cope with everyday situations.

Head of communications for Hearing Dogs for Deaf People, Sarah Sculpher, commented: “Delivering relevant volunteer support is a constant challenge, and having the skills of an agency such as Palmer Hargreaves to help us address the strategic approach as well as the creative need has been a huge benefit.”

Palmer Hargreaves worked towards delivering a positive message for the charity which clearly outlined the benefits of volunteering both to a deaf person but also to the life of the volunteer. ‘Turning up the volume on life’ became the key life for the charity’s volunteering drive, and it will soon be rolled out regionally on a range of materials to attract puppy socialisers to Hearing Dogs for Deaf People.

Nikki Watts, managing director at Palmer Hargreaves, added: “We are pleased to have delivered such a strong creative route, which we are really proud of and look forward to seeing some really positive results to the initial campaign materials for puppy socialising.”
