Urban Fresh Foods Limited, the owner of BEAR and Urban Fruit, has today announced the appointment of Emma Hines as marketing manager for the brand, where she will handle consumers, campaigns, packaging, PR, website, creative and all other areas relating to marketing.
Hines joins the team from innocent drinks, where she led the company’s digital marketing strategy and key brand campaigns such as ‘innocent Big Knit’.
She said: “It is a real privilege to be looking after two great, unique brands at such an exciting time.
“BEAR and Urban Fruit continue to demonstrate their commitment to driving overall fruit snacking category growth celebrating strong sales, by placing innovation at the heart of our approach and always creating products that taste delicious but are 100 per cent natural with no added nonsense. 2013 is going to be a big year for both brands as we build on the great foundations in place and invest more behind marketing than ever before, driving awareness and getting the product into more people’s hands."
Hayley Gait-Golding, business founder, will retain overall brand and procurement responsibilities.
The appointment comes as both BEAR and Urban Fruit look to ramp up their marketing presence, with the biggest marketing spend yet to be given to BEAR.
