Following the announcement that Sony was to cut 1000 jobs in its Europe division, the brand has appointed a new group of marketers which will be led by Gildas Pelliet as European head of marketing.
Pelliet, formerly the Sony UK and Ireland managing director, will be based in the Weybridge office and will be supported by nine platform and product marketing heads.
It has also been revealed Shaun Dorrington will be the head of marketing in the UK while Matt Coombe has remained as head of brand and consumer activity.
